Listed for your consideration is a vintage Sony WM-F42 Walkman with Sony MDR-005E headphones.
It has been tested and is in working condition. No batteries will be included.
The Walkman and headphones show some wear from use.
The belts have been replaced. It was difficult to get the belts to sit straight so they are slightly twisted but are on the rollers. Please see the last 3 pictures.
It has been tested and plays cassettes. The motor speed has been adjusted using the yellow screw inside of the unit. In my opinion it sounds fine but may need slightly adjusted.
The original belts wore out and were sticky. I removed as much of the old belt material as I could but it looks to have stained the roller. It may need cleaned further.
While the belts do what they are supposed to do they are not official Sony Walkman belts. They may need upgraded for optimal sound quality.
There was some corrosion on the battery terminals. It has been mostly removed but may need detailed further.
