Both books are in great condition for their age. There is some wear to the corners and edges. The covers are burgundy with gold lettering. The paper used is a nice heavy card stock and the photos are on glossy paper. There are a two pages in Volume 1 that have a little extra paper on the edge of the page (see photo) it looks like it was not cut correctly during production. This would be an amazing set to add to a collection, or to gift to that cook or chef in your life.
