The Synology MR2200AC is a tri-band mesh router built for people who want strong, reliable Wi-Fi in every corner of the house without juggling multiple network names or complicated settings.

Inside, it broadcasts one 2.4 GHz band and two 5 GHz bands, giving you a combined throughput up to 2.13 Gb/s. That extra bandwidth helps everyone stream, game, or join video meetings at the same time while keeping lag and buffering to a minimum.

If a single unit does not cover the entire property, you can place additional MR2200AC units around the home to create a mesh. All nodes share one Wi-Fi name, so phones, tablets, and laptops roam from room to room without dropping connections.

Day-to-day control happens through Synology Router Manager. From a desktop browser or the companion mobile app, you can see which device is using bandwidth, set up individual user profiles, schedule internet downtime for kids, and filter unwanted content with just a few clicks.

Security is built in. WPA3 encryption protects every session, guest access keeps visitors off your private network, and threat blocking powered by Google Safe Browsing helps stop malicious sites before they load.

On the back, you will find one Gigabit WAN port, one Gigabit LAN port for a hard-wired device such as a smart TV or desktop, and a USB 3.1 port that can share an external drive or printer across the network. A WPS button lets you add compatible devices with a quick press instead of typing long passwords.
