First edition (print number not stated) hardcover copy of Sheep & Sheep Hunting by Jack O’Connor (Winchester Press, 1974). Big game hunting book and a study on a wide variety of sheep around the world. Richly illustrated and with photographs. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and tears. Covers curled away from boards at top and bottom edges. Boards straight and clean but with corners bumped. A few instances of mildly split binding though spine remains fairly straight. A few pages wavy at top outer edge, due to a small bit of liquid damage. Previous owner’s name written on fep. See photos for condition.
