The Sennheiser 509747 is a wireless combo microphone system that brings together two trusted Sennheiser microphones and the dependable EW 100 G4 receiver. It covers the G band between 566 and 608 MHz, making it a practical choice for stages, lecture halls, and houses of worship.

When a performer needs a handheld vocal microphone, the included e 835 transmitter steps in. It uses a dynamic capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern to push vocals forward while keeping background noise under control. For conference speakers or actors who need both hands free, the ME 2 II lavalier clips to clothing and connects to the bodypack transmitter. Its omnidirectional pattern keeps speech consistent even if the presenter turns away from the audience.

Both transmitters sync to the EM 100 receiver through a simple infrared link. The receiver sits in a metal chassis and relies on true diversity antennas to reduce dropouts. A clear LCD screen shows frequency, RF strength, and battery status so that engineers can react quickly during rehearsals and shows.

A tuning range of 42 MHz offers 1680 selectable frequencies, and up to twelve systems can run side by side in the same venue without interference. The wireless link stays dependable at distances up to 330 feet, allowing performers to move across the stage or into the crowd without losing the signal.

Each transmitter runs for as long as eight hours on two AA batteries, easily covering a full day of rehearsals and performances. Durable construction across all components means the system can handle life on the road or weekly setup and teardown routines.
