Binding is strong, no loose edges. Paper (pages) are strong and free of any writing, scribbles, etc. No rips, torn pages or folded corners. Easily readable, crisp pages have me believing this hasn't been handled much at all over the 142 years.
A must have for collectors. Also a great gift as the holidays are once again upon us !!
