RARE! Miniature of A Book of Nonsense by Edward Leer published 1919.

This book is very special because the back of the book contains an ex libris sricker for the famous book shop and literary gathering place The Sunwise Turn!!!!

The Sunwise Turn was one of the first women owned bookshops in America. The sticker indicates the location at that time was at the Yale Club on 55th street which the Sunwise Turn occupied from 1919 to 1927. The Sunwise Turn served as a literary salon and gathering-place for F. Scott Fitzgerald, Alfred Kreymborg, Maxwell Bodenheim, Peggy Guggenheim, Theodore Dreiser, Robert Frost, Harold Loeb, John Dos Passos and others.

Each page of the book contains a rhyme and accompanying illustration. The book has some cover and binding damage as shown in the photos.

Gorgeous and very special antique item!
