The lamp shade it self is made of a solid stone like material which makes it very heavy. The true colors of it is like a slate stone grey mixed with some matte mossy green id say. The base is solid metal material. It has a cord that is completely intaked and has 2 light bulbs underneath with a functioning pull cord. This lamp is just absolutely Gorgeous!
