In GOOD condition w lovely decorative gray canvas cover stamped pictorial boards depicting a picture of a fairy riding the back of a bird with creatures framed all around in gold gilt lettering & details on front and spine. Caldwell, c1900. Clean copy. No dust jacket. Some bumping. Slight scuffing on edges, to top & bottom of spine due to shelf wear. Binding in tact. Binding split mid-book but no sign of string or netting visible, it just allows the book to lay own on the table for reading. Leaves are thick and almost board like with even typeface -free of stains, odors, creases and markings. Notation in ink on first page. This is a solid copy of a timeless fairy tale by a well known story collector. 259p. 7 13/4" x 5 1/2" x 1 1/2"
