Miku was recently acquired by a different company that has decided to implement a new subscription model. Basic features that originally came with the Miku (such as live breathing monitoring) are now behind a paywall. The only ‘basic’ features now included are live video and audio. That being said, it’s still a very high quality monitor and the original features are still available through their subscription service for $9.99/month or $99/year.
