It’s SID BERNSTEIN Calling: The Amazing Story of the Promoter Who Made Entertainment History. Signed by Sid Bernstein, who brought The Beatles to America. Sid Bernstein as told to Arthur Aaron. Published by Jonathan David Publishers, Inc. in 2002. First Edition. Hardcover. In near mint condition. Guess the condition is called fine. But the value is the Sid Bernstein signature on the first page endpaper. He didn’t sign much, and very rarely for this book, which was published by a small Middle Village, Queens New York publisher. Sid Bernstein was a 1960’s to 1970’s super pop music promoter. He arranged big concerts. The Shea Stadium Beatles Debut changed the face of Pop Music. He brought British rock music to America besides The Beatles such as The Rolling Stones, Herman’s Hermits, etc. Domestically he boosted James Brown, Ray Charles, Joan Baez, Miles Davis, and even the comeback of Tony Bennett. This book is a collectible. Notice the $99.98 price tag over the original $27.95 ma closet
