This auction is for two (2) Ghettopoly Board Games:
01 - The first is OPENED but NEVER PLAYED, in NEAR MINT CONDITION (with an unfortunate bit of paint on the outside of the box - see photos) All money and parts are still wrapped and sealed in their original packaging, but the outside box was opened and has a little bit of paint on it.
02 - The second is NEW, SEALED, and in MINT CONDITION (with the exception of a little bit of wear to the shrink wrap - see photos)
Description:
Ghettopoly is a parody of Monopoly released in 2002. Invented by David Chang, it uses Monopoly-like mechanics in the atmosphere of a characterized United States ghetto. The game was criticized as offensively racist by a local chapter of the NAACP and black clergy (among others). The game was pulled from the market by Urban Outfitters, and David Chang’s web store was shut down by Yahoo!
