FRANK REYNOLDS Original 1920s 1930s Framed CARTOON Print As-is The Decline in Our Club Personalities Signed Vintage Estate. Frank Reynolds RI (1876-1953) studied art at Heatherley’s. His earliest illustrations appeared in Longbow & Pick-Me-Up. In 1901 he became a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours; he exhibited there & at Walker’s Art Gallery, London. He also drew cartoons for Punch. There are two drawings which are on the same piece of paper. each depicting a club setting with an actor, an author, an artist, & waiter, in both the old & new style. In the old style, they are a rowdy bunch drinking & having a fine old time. The new style group are very staid, prim & proper. Signed at the lower left-hand corner. It is in good vintage condition & is framed behind good condition glass. The frame is very worn on all the edges & the paint is peeled off a lot. The paper on the back has not been removed but it has some peeled & flaked areas. There is an original label &
