Hip-hop's evolution, innovators, artistry, and importance fill the enormous "Hip Hop Raised Me," published in 2016. This signed hardback book is a 448-page written and photographic record of of the genre by British hip-hop maestro and producer DJ SEMTEX.

In these pages, Semtex documents heavily how the genre evolved into a multi-generational culture and artform. A genealogy of hip-hop and rap with over 1000 images of art, artists, and moments are included. The Forward is by Mistachuck himself, Chuck D.

The book is in good shape but it's a heavy tome with some inevitable but mild shelf-wear. The text block and cover are exactly the same size to not strain the binding. Please take a look at the photos. There are no labels, tears, creases, or other marks besides the signature
