Its 6 MP CMOS sensor teams with Axis Lightfinder and Forensic WDR to keep colour and fine detail clear even when lighting changes or fades toward darkness. In bright conditions it records up to 30 frames per second, making fast movement easy to follow during playback.

The camera does more than stream video. Deep learning analytics run directly on the device, allowing it to recognise objects and speed up forensic searches. You can also open as many as four digital PTZ windows, so a single unit can watch a doorway, checkout counter, storage shelf, and the wider scene all at once.
