New, rare and beautiful, uniquely crafted, original metal mirror with Hologram sticker. Aranmula Kannadi mirror, is a handmade metal-alloy mirror, made in Aranmula, a small town in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India. Authentic & traditional with hologram sticker on the back to validate its authenticity. The alloy is a mix of copper and tin. It is polished for several days to achieve the miror's reflective surface. This ritual mirror has been produced for thousands of years using the same time-honored secret formula. The techniques are guarded and passed down through generations in Aranmula village. New, never used.
Mirror stands 7.5" tall, 5" across and the actual mirror is 2" in diameter. It comes in a latched case with polishing cloth, pamphlet and business card.(See photos). The Brititsh Museum in London has an aranmula kannadi it it's collection, which is 45 centimeters in length.
