It occupies 5U of rack space and ships with a rail kit, so installation in a standard 19-inch enclosure is straightforward for data centers, branch offices, or edge computing sites.

The rear panel offers fifteen outlets that cover both 120 volt and 208 volt loads. Twelve NEMA 5-20R receptacles handle common IT devices, while two NEMA L6-20R and two NEMA L6-30R sockets support higher current equipment. A built-in transformer steps 208 volt input down to 120 volt output, allowing mixed-voltage racks without extra hardware.

An embedded Network Management Card provides a web interface, SNMP support, and integration with EcoStruxure IT or other monitoring platforms. Administrators can check status, receive alerts, or trigger a controlled shutdown through the included PowerChute software, protecting data when an outage exceeds available battery time.

The internal lead-acid battery recharges in about one and a half hours. When longer runtime is required, external battery packs connect easily, and hot-swappable modules let you replace batteries without interrupting protected equipment.
