Large statement piece of aesthetic, sparkling druzy, high quality sugar quartz coated fluorite and calcite from the El Fino Vein in Mapimi, Durango, Mexico. The fully natural, big decor display specimen features a cluster of etched, diamond octahedral and botryoidal etched mint green fluorite. The crystals are coated with sparkling clear, glassy sugar quartz Druze. The microcrystalline terminated quartz forms radiating rosette shapes and sparkles like diamonds in the light. Accents of glistening white dogtooth calcite are scattered throughout and coat the backside- adding great texture and contrast. The fluorite and calcite are UV fluorescent and glow neon pink, orange and blue! The piece does have a line repair that is not visibility except on the bottom side. A top grade Mexican fine mineral display specimen measuring approx 7 by 5 inches wide and tall, 2.5 inches thick, and weighs almost 2 and a half pounds at 2lbs, 6.7 ounces.
